WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?
-
It really is simple, you lay in the chamber on a soft mattress with a pillow and you are pressured to about 1.3 Atmospheres, to you and me that’s the equivalent to about 11 feet under sea water.
-
Your ears equalise over a few minutes (rather like landing in a plane) then you lay or sit for about an hour and experience your body absorbing more Oxygen.
-
An Oxygen concentrator is added, this is an electronic device that takes in ambient air, filters out the nitrogen molecules, and delivers purified oxygen through a transparent mask (over the nose and mouth) or nasal cannula, increasing oxygen delivery to over 90%.
HOW LONG DOES EACH TREATMENT TAKE?
Treatments last a minimum of 60 minutes. Pressurizing the chamber takes 10-15 minutes (up to 25 min).
At the treatment depth you will receive a timed 60* minutes of oxygen, after which we depressurize (for 10-12 minutes).
Allow up to 2-hours for each treatment session.
* treatment time may vary depending on your condition.
HOW LONG DO YOU NEED IT FOR?
There are many variables however it is suggested all the time you are seeing improvements in your health it is wise to continue treatment.
As a guide, a clinical study of 1,730 subjects showed for acute injuries you would require around 15 sessions and for chronic injuries around 40.
It is however better for you to judge based on your own results and improvement.
